Week 5: Double Exposure
1. Double exposure photography means merging more than one image together in order to achieve the effect of surreal, emotional, or humorous.
2. In Photoshop, effects can be used to create a double exposure.
Effects:
- The tilt-shift effect
- Create fake reflections
- Using portraits and detailed textures
- Convert the results to black and white
- Work with silhouettes
- Make simple objects look fascinating
- Use shadows
3. To achieve double exposure by using Photoshop, we must use blending mode. It is important to blend the layers to achieve the results.
Week 6: Digital Photography
1. In photography, exposure is the amount of light that reaches your camera sensor or film.
2. Two parts of the camera:
- Camera body: Shutter, image sensor, and LCD screen
- Camera lens: Aperture/ iris
3. Iris can control the flow of light entering the lens.
4. Iris is measured by f-stop
5. The sequence of f-numbers: f/1, f/1.4, f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6. f/8, f/11, f/16, f/22, and f/32. The lower the f-number, the larger the lens opening.

Fig.1.9 The first outcome
This was the first outcome and I got feedback that It looks good but the bottom part looks empty so if I add some clouds, it will be much better. So I decided to add some elements.
Final Outcome
Fig.1.1 The final outcome
I added clouds and different birds. It looks more balanced than the first outcome and I am satisfied with this work.
